Stewart Pro Platform has 2 new hardware features. These features help the platform to be more durable and more precise!
Here are the details:
1) Motor driver board is renewed.
The new Stewart Pro motor driver board (MDB ) is used to amplify the position command signals of the microcontrollers. It has a flexible voltage input range (between 12V to 48V or more), high output current capacity, and auxiliary 12V outputs (up to 3A) to supply the encoders of the platform. Thanks to the new switching devices (power MOSFET), the output current capacity is also increased. As MDB uses a higher switching frequency now, the idle sound is moved out of the audible frequency range, making the platform quieter.
2) Joints With Double Bearings:
The joints of the Stewart Pro now have double bearings on each leg. It gives a better look and also helps with the repeatability specifications while reducing the idle position gap. Plus, the new bearings make it easier to replace/re-position the actuators.
Our team is excited about this development and would like to share the details of this application with anyone who is interested. If you are interested, please contact us!
